What exactly does 360 do?
In a nutshell, we are like wedding planners but for retreats. We handle all of the back end and on the ground logistics to make your retreat a smashing success. From food, to payments, to transportation and daily schedules, we have it covered. We are there during the retreat to provide as much support that is needed and wanted. We work hand in hand with you to make your dream retreat a reality.
Is my company the right fit?
Our partnering potential includes the health, fitness, wellness and lifestyle industry. Perhaps you own a yoga studio and spa and want to provide a retreat option for your clients. Maybe you are a foodie with a following or a fitness instructor with clients who keep asking you to lead a retreat. This is your chance to partner with 360 to design a retreat that will wow your clients. In a nutshell -- work with 360 to curate a retreat that incorporates your mission, vision and values and allows you to be front and center with your clients, friends or team.
Will I earn money if we partner?
YES! We know that retreats can be for a number of reasons including making money. After initial consultation we will be able to establish a budget and projected profits.
How much will I make?
We all need to make money, right? We will work with you to meet your financial goals.
Whose responsibility is it to obtain clients for a 360Partner Retreat?
The one aspect that is always your responsibility is the marketing and recruitment of your clients. Leave the rest of the nitty gritty planing and logistics to us! During our planning phase we will need to decide upon our bottom line numbers to go forward.
Is there room for negotiation?
In some cases you could earn around 10% of the ticket price and we do everything! This includes location vetting, budget development, registration, payment processes for clients and providers, airport transportation arrangements, deposit payments, daily schedules, activity planning, all teacher and activity selection, hiring and execution, meal planning, community connections, giving back planning and all of the problem solving needed once on site in Mexico. Should you want to be more involved or have some of your own connections we can definitely negotiate on this!
General Travel Questions
What will the accommodations be like?
Each retreat has different accommodations. You can expect a range from luxurious with a Mexican flare to Eco-chic. If you are partnering with us we will work with you to pick the perfect spot for you and your clients!
What should I pack?
This really depends on the focus and location of your retreat. We do suggest you always pack the following: swimsuit, sunscreen, comfortable clothes, clothes that can get dirty, sun glasses and a least one casual dining outfit. The rest depends on what you like to wear and the weather -- do check that out! It is usually warm/hot at beach locations and cooler at mountain locations, although temperatures vary greatly throughout the year and by location.
Will I need a passport to travel to Mexico?
Yes, you will need a passport. Visit the US Passport website.
Do I need a visa?
You will receive a tourist card on board your flight to Mexico. This will be stamped at customs/immigration in the Mexico airport. Please keep this with your passport as you will need it to exit the country.
Once I arrive at the airport, how will I get to the site?
Transportation is included with most of the retreats. Someone from 360Retreats will be there to meet you. In some cases we may encourage you to take the bus system or taxis (all retreats differ depending on location).
Who will be my contact once I arrive?
Co-founders, Katherine & Molly, are your main contacts for each retreat, unless noted otherwise. There may be a few other hosts once you arrive as well! We encourage you to share our contact information with your family as needed.
Is there a daily schedule?
Yes, you will receive your schedule within a few weeks prior to your departure unless noted otherwise.
What will the food be like? What if I have allergies?
Easy answer - delicious! There will be variations depending on your retreat and location. For the most part it will be authentic cuisine made with fresh and local foods created by local chefs. You will also be able to go to the store to pick up any snacks or special food you want for the duration of the retreat. If you have allergies or diet restrictions, please let us know and the chefs will cook meals accordingly.
Can I eat the vegetables?
Sure can! All the fruits and vegetables are carefully washed in purified water and all necessary precautions are taken when handling food at our group meals. We will recommend safe restaurants and food stands for meals eaten on your own.
Can I drink the water?
Yes! All of the accommodations provide filtered water for you to fill your re-usable drinking container. Some locations even have filtered water on site! At group meals, all of the water, ice and beverages are prepared using filtered water and are completely safe for consumption.
Will I have Internet access and cell phone coverage?
Most accommodations have Internet access. Your cellphone may work depending on what coverage you have with your provider. We recommend you call your provider and check with them.
Do I need any special immunizations before I travel?
No, not to Mexico.
What happens if I get sick while on vacation?
We can take you to a Doctor who speaks fluent English.
Do you have health, safety and emergency plans in place? If so, what are they?
You would take the same health, safety and emergency measures in Mexico as you would in the USA or Canada. Please check with your insurance company to ensure you have international health insurance.
Do I have to participate in all the activities?
Absolutely not, although we hope you do! This is YOUR vacation.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
YES - unless otherwise specified.
Is there laundry service?
There is laundry service for a small fee.
Are there blow-dryers?
Maybe… but if you have a favorite we suggest bringing it. However, beware, there is a good chance you won’t be into doing your do when you are on a tropical island.
Is there alcohol served?
Yes and no... A welcome drink will be served upon arrival and at the going away fiesta. All additional alcohol is on you and will be available to purchase at most lunches and dinners.
Are there bugs?
Maybe… This depends greatly on location and time of year of the retreat. If you have a favorite repellent, please bring it!
What is your refund and cancellation policy? Do you have a change policy?
Reservations: A deposit of 50% is required to hold a reservation for a 360Retreat. Deposit amounts are always 50% unless otherwise stated. Receipt of your deposit confirms you are in agreement of 360Retreats Terms & Conditions. Final payment is due no later than 45 days prior to departure. For reservations made within 45 days of the departure date, full payment is required when the reservation is accepted. If final payment is not paid by due date, we reserve the right to consider this a cancellation and cancellation penalties will apply.
Cancellation Penalties and Refunds: Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from travel and lodging providers. If you choose to cancel, there will be penalties, depending on the retreat. All cancellation requests must be received in writing and the effective date of the cancellation will be the day your cancellation notice is received by email or mail. Cancellation charges are based on how long before your retreat begins and when the cancellation notice was received. Charges are as follows:
- 120 days prior to departure, a full refund less an administrative fee of $50 will be made.
- 90 - 119 days prior to departure: refund 50% of your payment to date (less $50 admin fee) OR credit 100% of your payment to a future experience within one calendar year.
- 45-89 days prior to departure: refund 25% of the total price (less $50 admin fee) OR credit of 75% of your payment to a future retreat within one calendar year.
- 0-44 days prior to departure or no-show: no refund or credit
* Leaving a retreat in progress, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of a retreat.
